Kartagener's syndrome

Kartagener's syndrome
a hereditary condition in which the heart and other internal organs lie on the opposite side of the body to the norm (i.e. the heart lies on the right; see dextrocardia); it is associated with chronic sinusitis and bronchiectasis [Kartagener (1897–1975), German physician]
